About this site

Jungian Therapy Directory is an independent directory of therapists who name Jungian therapy among their approaches and who work online. It exists to make one thing easier: comparing enough about a therapist to decide whether they might suit you, before you contact anybody.

How it is paid for

This is a commercial directory. It is free to use and carries no advertising, but if you go on to sign up with a therapist through a link here, this site will earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The commission does not change who is listed or the order they appear in.

Who is listed

1,078 therapists, across the United States (743), the United Kingdom (309) and Australia (26). Everyone here is licensed or registered where they practise, and all of them work online through BetterHelp, the platform their details come from.

Regulation is not the same in the three countries. In the United States a therapist holds a licence issued by a state board. In the United Kingdom and Australia they are registered with a professional body - the BACP or NCPS in the UK, PACFA, AASW or ACA in Australia. Those are memberships with their own entry standards, not state licences, and this site does not describe them as licences.

The areas someone appears under are self-selected: they are categories the therapist chose when setting up their profile. Appearing under one means they have said they work with it, nothing more. If it matters to you, ask them directly.

What naming an approach means

"Jungian analyst" is a protected title requiring several years of training at an institute accredited by the IAAP. That is NOT what this directory records. Nobody listed here is described as an analyst, and naming Jungian therapy as an approach is not the same as institute training. Ask directly.

Where the information comes from

Licence and registration details, the NPI where there is one, years in practice, focus areas, approaches and languages come from BetterHelp. We do not collect them from therapists directly.

The written summaries on each profile are produced with the help of AI, working only from those supplied facts, and are written not to add anything that is not in them: no invented specialties, diagnoses, availability or results. If something looks wrong, tell us and we will correct it.

What this site does not do

If you are in crisis you can reach someone at any hour: call or text 988 in the US (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), call 116 123 in the UK (Samaritans), or call 13 11 14 in Australia (Lifeline). If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911, 999 or 000.

Corrections and removals

If you are listed here and something is wrong or out of date, write to us and we will amend or remove the listing. Therapists can ask to be removed at any time and do not need to give a reason. Removal applies across the whole site, permanently.
